The Seton Circle

Seton Circle is a dynamic group of community-minded individuals who share a common interest in helping Seton Medical Center Williamson (SMCW) provide the best possible person-centered health care to Central Texans. Through meetings and social activities Seton Circle members network and participate in collective philanthropy to positively impact the health of our growing community.

Seton Circle member gifts are pooled annually and members vote to fund special program, building, equipment and/or endowment needs at Seton Williamson. Projects funded in the past include:

Infant CPR Class
Funds provided start up materials to begin offering this highly requested class to the public at SMCW.

Breast Cancer Recovery Shirts
These specially designed shirts have pockets inside that hold up to four drains for post-mastectomy patients to aid in comfort and recovery.

ROWalker 400
This early mobility device allows ICU patients to walk while attached to various types of equipment.

QuickMove Patient Transfer Device
This is a unique device that easily aids patients in safely transferring from their hospital bed to a chair, bedside commode or the bathroom. It prevents falls by providing a secure method of rising, standing, and moving while protecting them from falling and injury.

Handheld Echo/Ultrasound
This handheld device travels with the doctor from room to room and reduces unnecessary testing for the patient. It provides much quicker results for the patient, allowing proper treatment to begin.

Funds raised will be granted to support building and equipment needs at Seton Medical Center Williamson through a vote by the Seton Circle membership.

Our Mission

Our mission inspires us to care for and improve the health of those we serve with a special concern for the poor and the vulnerable. We are called to be a sign of God's unconditional love for all and believe that all persons by their creation are endowed with dignity. Seton continues the Catholic tradition of service established by our founders: Vincent de Paul, Louise de Marillac, and Elizabeth Ann Seton.
