The Seton Circle

Seton Circle is a dynamic group of community-minded individuals who share a common interest in helping Seton Medical Center Williamson (SMCW) provide the best possible person-centered health care to Central Texans. Through meetings and social activities Seton Circle members network and participate in collective philanthropy to positively impact the health of our growing community.

Seton Circle member gifts are pooled annually and members vote to fund special program, building, equipment and/or endowment needs at Seton Williamson. Projects funded in the past include:

  • Nurse navigation services, bringing coordinated cancer care to patients,
  • A cardiovascular conditioning and strengthening machine to help patients with heart disease regain strength and muscle movement, and
  • Therapeutic chairs that reduce stress on the newly implanted hip joints of hip surgery patients.

Our Mission

Our mission inspires us to care for and improve the health of those we serve with a special concern for the poor and the vulnerable. We are called to be a sign of God's unconditional love for all and believe that all persons by their creation are endowed with dignity. Seton continues the Catholic tradition of service established by our founders: Vincent de Paul, Louise de Marillac, and Elizabeth Ann Seton.
