The Seton Circle

The Seton Circle is a networking group supporting Seton Medical Center Williamson’s philanthropic mission to provide the highest quality of care regardless of the ability to pay and make a lasting impact on the lives of Williamson County residents. With an annual membership gift of $250 per person, members meet quarterly to socialize and learn more about innovative programs and the power of collective philanthropy at Seton Williamson.

May 24, 2011 ❘ Seton Circle Celebration

Our annual celebration and check presentation where we announced Seton Circle's grant funding of the Breast Cancer Initiative. With the generous support of our Seton Circle membership, we helped fund the purchase of a new stereotactic breast biopsy table which provides patients with a quick, safe, minimally-invasive, and more cost-effective tool for evaluating breast abnormalities that may be cancerous.

Dr. Alex Valadka and Dr. Robert Buchanan with the Seton Brain & Spine Institute spoke about their expertise in neuroscience in conjunction with SMCW’s Trauma II initiative at Seton Medical Center Williamson. The Seton Brain and Spine Institute provides leading edge academic and clinical programs across the Seton network to support the neurological needs of the local and regional communities through exceptional treatment, research, and teaching.

November 17, 2009 | The Seton Circle Kicks Off with Dr. Brent New

Dr. Brent New, with Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeons, discussed the new daVinci Robotic Surgical System, a philanthropy-funded, state-of-the-art piece of equipment at Seton Medical Center Williamson. Dr. New is the first surgeon in Central Texas to incorporate the daVinci technology with heart surgeries.

Seton continues the Catholic tradition of service established by our founders: Vincent de Paul, Louise de Marillac, and Elizabeth Ann Seton.
